Xander Vos

Born in 1972 as the youngest in a family with three boy’s, life was good. Although we moved 6 times before I turned 16, I had a wonderful and stable childhood.

In 1995 I graduated from my study structural engineering and architecture. Short after that I got married to my lovely wife and we have two healthy children.

I started my professional career in product design and building innovation. The structural floor we designed in the late 90’S, will dictate a big part of my professional career.

When work stress and long working days started to effect my health and putting pressure on our marriage we decided to redesign our life. We wrote down how our ideal place would look like and we figured out that we wanted to live in nature with a lot of space around us, This resulted in moving to the north
of Sweden in 2008. I was given the opportunity to keep my job and work from Sweden. In the first couple years life changed for the good but old habits were slowly introduced and after a while I concluded that nothing had changed and I was heading towards the wall of total breakdown.

January 2017 I quitted my job so I could redesigned my life again. I started exploring the more spiritual side of life and started to build a workshop for exploring my creative side in woodworking.

Today I run a part of the business I previous worked for, but more consciously and from a different perspective than before. In my spare time I enjoy exploring my woodworking skills in building our Van, LASS.

It took many years to understand how to implement all the different aspects in our life. But now we know how it worked for us, we are happy to share our experiences with you, so you can start (re)designing your life. We are looking forward hearing from you in:

How do you design your life?
